Configuration

Navigate to Performance -> General Settings

You will want to toggle the following options to start with:

Page Cache

  • Page cache: Enable
  • Page cache method: Disk: Enhanced (Any Opcode setting if available)

Minify

Minify can sometimes be tricky, but a major bonus if it does work for you. If you have any display issues with your website after applying these changes then we recommend disabling Minify and consulting a Web Expert to configure Minify for your site

  • Minify: Enable
  • Minify mode: Auto

Database Cache

  • Database Cache: Enable

Object Cache

We typically find that an Object Cache can have a negative impact on page load time on some servers so we recommend leaving this off unless you are more experienced.

Browser Cache

  • Browser Cache: Enable

Now press Save all settings to continue.

There you have it, you should notice an increase in your pages performance noting the first time accessing a page might be slower than normal but the second time should be much faster!
